The head girl for next year is Gabriella Stephenson . So if you see her around school next year i am sure she will help you,because she is a really inteligant and polite girl otherwise she wouldent have got the role .

The headboy for next year is Dexter Sparrow . So if you see him around school i’m sure he’ll be happy to help to.

 So   they are   head  girl   and   head   boy.

The deputy head girl is Sinead Gilligan  And Nisha Kenny  and they will be deputys  when we come back from our holidays .They will be doing  basicly  will  some ofwhat Gabriella and Dexter will be doing .

The Deputy head boy is Adam Curren and he will be doing the same as the deputy head girl,So basicly the same as head boy and girl.

In December, a film crew from Microsoft and BECTA came to visit our school, interested in the parental engagement that we have at Hawes Side. They filmed us, and then went away and did lots of fancy editing.

ICT-Mark-logoIn July 2009, Becta, a national agency which develops innovative uses of ICT in schools, sent an assessor to our school to test whether we could be awarded the coveted ICT Mark. After a gruelling day of interviews and lesson observations, the assessor announced that we’d passed – with flying colours! So we are able to display the ICT Mark logo on our website and blogs.
